1. Does
chocolate really grow on trees?
Ans: Yes! Cocao seeds come from the cacao
fruit of the Theobroma cacao tree, which grows in the area between 20 degrees
north and 20 degrees south of the equator.
2. Isn’t
cocao just cocoa misspelt?
Ans: No. Cocoa is not the same as cacao.
Cocoa is half cacao, half cocoa butter.
3. When
did chocolate bars first appear?
Ans: Chocolate was served in liquid form
until sometime around 1660 when crude versions of chocolate bars began
appearing in London.
4. What
is the most complex food known to man (and woman)?
Ans: Cacao. It has 512 and
counting complex compounds. Broccoli is next with just 60. I know which I prefer…..
